Courtney-Jayne Heynes is a Legal Associate Transactions, who joined our organisation in 2025. She supports the Transactions team in taking projects from preferred bidder status to financial close through the negotiation, preparation, and review of all project and finance documents. Her career highlights include managing the contractual deliverables of our Brandvalley and Rietkloof wind projects until commercial operations, as well as helping achieve financial close on our Overberg wind project and our Tournee solar project. Before Red Rocket, Courtney-Jayne worked as an associate in the projects team of a leading law firm. She is an Admitted Attorney who holds an LLB and is pursuing a Professional Master of Laws in Commercial Law, with a focus on Banking and Corporate Finance.
