Malte Meyer is our newly appointed Head of Strategic Procurement, who joined Red Rocket in 2023 to oversee the procurement of our high-value technology which is central to our renewable energy facilities. Hailing from Germany with a career footprint in Europe and Africa, his role at Red Rocket includes being active in pricing negotiations with various teams and counterparties to procure critical equipment that includes solar modules, wind turbines and transformers. Malte’s academic achievements include a Bachelor’s in Economics and an MBA. He also holds several industry certificates including one in Renewable Energy Finance, and has done advanced negotiation training.
