Jun Cho

Performance Engineer

Jun Cho is a Performance Engineer in Red Rocket’s EC team. A Korean national, he joined our organisation in 2018 following an internship at a local LED Lighting company. Jun is a trained Electro-Mechanical engineer, having completed a Bachelor of Electro-Mechanical Engineering in 2017 and started studying Masters of Electrical Engineering in 2021 while working as a full-time Engineer. Within his team, Jun is charged with electrical system design and system performance optimisation, working on both PV and wind projects. In his spare time, Jun provides mathematics and science tuition to the children of Korean ex-pats in Cape Town.
