In October 2024, the Cape Town Cruise Terminal became our “new home away from home” after a big, much-celebrated move. It was a bold undertaking, with every detail carefully considered – from design and functionality to how the space reflects who we are and how we work. That vision has been recognised with the title of Best Office Interior in Africa, a shining achievement for such a dynamic space.
Red Rocket’s workspace partners at Giant Leap recently took home the award after entering our state-of-the-art office into the International Property Awards’ Best Office Interior Africa 2025-2026 category. This comes shortly after winning Best Office Interior South Africa for the same period.
The winners were announced at the International Property Awards’ prestigious awards ceremony, where Giant Leap was presented with the honour for the Africa region.
During the design phase of the 3080m2 offices, Giant Leap worked closely with our internal teams and other partners to create a space that not only reflected Red Rocket’s identity as a renewable energy company but also elevated the everyday experience of Rocketeers.
Giant Leap took to social media to express its excitement and pride, describing the win as the “highest award for the region”. As a workspace design company, the team’s focus on well-being and thoughtful design positions them as leaders in their field, and this is reflected in every element of our office.
Standout features such as our Command Centre, agile workspaces, the bar area, and the Pavilion bring the design to life, creating an environment that supports collaboration, innovation, and excellence – hallmarks of Red Rocket’s culture.
