Brandvalley Wind Farm is one half of the sibling projects located along the boundaries between the Western Cape and Northern Cape provinces. Developed as part of Bid Window 5 of the REIPPPP, it features 32 Vestas V150-4.5MW wind turbines with a nameplate capacity of 144MW, generating around 595GWh of energy annually. This satisfies the needs of roughly 181 000 households every year, while avoiding the emission of approximately 620 000 tons of CO2 equivalent annually (gross).
