Welcome to Kathu Solar.

The 75MW plant in the Northern Cape generates approximately 180GwH of clean energy per year, utilising highly advanced technology. This project reached Commercial Operations on 10 October 2014. By the end of 2020, the facility had produced 1 130GWh of solar energy captured using 306 553 polycrystalline mono facial photo-voltaic modules with single axis hydraulic tracking system.
