Ulwin Hoffmann

Head of PPCM Wind

Ulwin Hoffmann is Red Rocket’s Head of Project, Procurement and Construction Management, focusing on our wind projects. He has a decade of experience in the renewable energy industry, and joined our company in 2020.

Along his impressive journey, Ulwin has been motivated by the opportunity to “turn ideas into reality”, and being successful in spreading the message about our purpose through our projects. In his role, he is responsible for completing the technical and commercial arrangements for the construction of our projects, followed by the supervision and management of construction, up to commission and operation.

His competencies also include supporting our Development and Transactions teams in bringing our renewable energy projects to financial close. Prior to joining Red Rocket, Ulwin was the South African Renewables Team Leader for MPAMOT Africa (formerly Mott MacDonald).

He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechatronics (Cum Laude) and a Master’s in Electrical Engineering.
