Luka van der Merwe

Project Developer

Luka van der Merwe is one of Red Rocket’s Project Developers, and has been with the company since 2023.

In his role, Luka is responsible for facilitating the various stages of the project development process – from the identification and screening of new land, to the preparation of documents in the bidding process, all the way to bid submission.

Prior to joining Red Rocket, he worked as an intern at a fabrics supplier, and worked at an engineering consulting company while completing his studies.

Luka has a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering from Stellenbosch University.
